Roxas City is the seafood capital of the Philippines. What we really like about the food there is that it's similar to what we have in Manila but there is a distinct factor and we don't know how to explain it. Anyway, the food there taste really amazing. :)
It was our great-grandmother's birthday celebration, and we always have this feast wherein they lay down a lot of food on the long table, buffet type, because there's really a lot of guests. Anyway, it's a little tradition we have been accustomed to. :)
Here are a few pictures of us traveling:
Please ignore my weird face here...haha :))
Tinolang Manok - this one tasted different because they used a different kind of chicken. It tasted so good!
Lumpiang Shanghai, my (Amira) favorite! <3
This is a Paella, Valenciana rice dish. Not sure how to describe it, but it's like a sticky rice which has seafood in it. :)
Dinuguan! Anika's favorite :)
Molo soup. Amira actually requested for this because she loves it ever since we were like 5? It's a specialty dish by our Tita Inday. :)
Leche flan, our dad's favorite :)
Pancit! Everyone's favorite. Haha
Which one do you think looks good? Have a good weekend everyone! <3
Love,
The Vallerys.
